MAGICAL WILDLIFE OF CEVENNES NATIONAL PARK
Located in  France  in 2  regions  which  are  Occitanie  and  Auvergne Rhône  Alpes and listed mainly in 3 departments  covering Lozère, The Gard and L'Ardéche,  the Cévennes National Park is a radiant territory  which  enchants with the beauty and  diversity of its landscapes also represent a wild and natural  space that  enthusiasts of ornithology and wildlife discovery never tire of discovering.
Created on September 2, 1970, The Cévennes National  Park, a  territory covering 93,500 hectares composed of medium mountains  formed  by  four  distinct  geographical  entities  which  are  the  Aigoual  massif, the Causse Méjean with the Gorges du Tarn and de la Jonte supplemented by Mont Lozère and the adjacent Cévennes valleys are also classified as a category 2 protected area by the World Commission on Protected Areas of the  International Union for  Conservation of Nature in parallel with being also certified as a  biosphere  reserve by  Unesco  since  1985 . Features radiant landscapes
where magical and magical colors emerge at  daybreak that  accompany  the  fauna and  the  flora, the Park is decorated
with multiple natural spaces which are also the privileged domain of a rich and diversified characterized by the presence
of more than 2400 animal  species  including  in  particular 195  species  of birds such as birds of prey such as the golden eagle or the griffon  or black vultures  also supplemented by  birds living in open environments that are the meadows of
the causses as well as its  mountains  located  in  the  corresponding  areas  that it  is interesting to discover and observe
whether by canoe, on foot or during mountain bike escapades  along  the  Gorges Du Tarn or Jonte as from the top of its
majestic peaks, the highest of which peaked until  1699  meters at  the  top of  Finiels, the true  highest point of the Park
within the granite bar of Mont Lozère as well as take advantage of its designed  and marked circuits,particularly for  fans
of the little queen and enthusiasts of hiking and ornithology on roads  including  numerous  trails well  suited for  leisure
activities proximity also integrating observation posts in good balance with environmental data enhanced with meetings with residents, members of the Bird Protection  League and  guides  supplemented  by the  discovery of the  history  and culture of the Park.

The Development and Preservation of Wild Life

Traveling through the  Cévennes  National  Park is  an  unforgettable  getaway  because  you discover numerous natural spaces very often  preceded  by  morning  mists  which  cover, like a  cloud, the  foothills  of its mountains and its valleys

which are reminiscent of an impressionist painting with a particularity that it is pleasant to contemplate in  these places expressing all the diversity of our territories integrating the good practices of ecotourism respectful of the environment

in parallel with the fact that the Park benefits from a climate conducive  to  development  and  the  preservation  of wild

life. Preserved space well suited for  many  other  animal  species  listed  including in  particular  70 species of mammals, 

16 species of amphibians, 26 species of reptiles, 23 species of fish  for  2000  species of  invertebrates  including 1824    

insects that  it  is  also  delightful  to  photograph  like  observing  with the  help of  a good pair of  binoculars or  a long   

ornithological telescope on its massifs to spot chamois and ibexes as well as observe  beavers, European  hedgehogs or   

otters along the gentle banks of its  shimmering  rivers  as  well as  coming  across  lynxes and  wolves  in its forests and
