HIKES IN THE MANCELLES ALPS AREA
Located in the northern part of the PAYS DE LA LOIRE region including 3 departments which are The Sarthe, The Mayenne and The Orne, The Mancelles Alps area lands
radiant and welcoming which enchant with the beauty and diversity of their landscapes also integrating a rich cultural and historical heritage complemented by a rich and diversified fauna that we never tire of discovering.
Visiting the Mancelles Alps is a pure marvel because you discover unique places mixed with multiple colors sometimes
preceded by morning mists which cover, like a cloud, the foothills of its landscapes and its peaks reminiscent of an
impressionist painting. All these fertile and harmonious spaces are also decorated magnificently preserved authentic
villages, an exceptional heritage witness to our history and well-established ancestral traditions.We arrive at Fresnay
Sur Sarthe and we take the time to stop on the bridge which overlooks the Sarthe before reaching Saint Léonard Des Bois, a radiant city of character located further north which enchants us with its architecture with its small winding and
steep streets décorated with flowers bright colors and as we will see during our journey in this shimmering territory,
the particularities of the landscapes change and when we follow the Sarthe and its particular configuration, we can only be enchantedby the specificity of its course which changes from village to village when we take the time to follow it and
observe it from the top of a bridge or even on its sinuous edges in perfect harmony with nature expressed in its state
pure that it is also interesting to discover whether by canoe kayak or on foot followed by mountain bike escapades or during marked circuits for trekking on the heights of Monts Narbonne and Haut Fourché to then reach the cliff of the Toyères where the view of the Saint Cénéri cirque is majestic while appreciating the diversity of easily accessible circuits for hiking enthusiasts on routes well suited for local leisure activities.
