WHO SEE BELLE ILE SEE HIS ISLAND
Belle ile En Mer, the  third  largest  island in France after Corse and the  island of Oléron and  located  in  the  south  of  Brittany  15  kilometers  from  Quiberon  is a radiant land
which enchants with the beauty and diversity of its landscapes also complemented by a
rich cultural and historical heritage that is particularly interesting to discover, after a 45-minute boat crossing, after setting foot in the port of the Palais majestic port of entry to this lively Breton island.
Visiting the  citadel  which  dominates  the  port  of  the Palais  is unique  because it  concentrates  all the memory of the island in its museum which began in  the  Middle  Ages, with  the  construction  of  the  first  fort  located  on the current
location of the  citadel  to  then  see  its  architecture  evolve over  the  years, notably  by  Vauban who reworked it as we discover it Today. Before taking possession of our bikes to travel around this island  which  bears its  name aptly, we let's
go to the Quai de l'Acadie on the port of the Palais which reminds us that in these places steeped in  history of Acadians
from Saint Malo and  Morlaix  began  settling  on  the  island  in  September  1765  and  throughout our  getaway on this
beautiful and rebellious  land, we  will  have  the  opportunity  to  discover  traces  well  alive  from 258  years of Acadian
presence including the land use plan for the typical village of Kervarigeon, the study of which, carried out in 1768, was a first at the time because it made it possible to produce the first land register in France and  this  thanks to the  Acadians.
Head to the North West part of the island and cycle along the moorland paths which lead to the  village  of SAUZON is a
pure marvel because, in addition to this pleasant feeling  of  freedom, you  can  stop  at  any  time  to  either  admire  this
magnificent steep and jagged coastline or discover an atypical place with the rich history of the island. The big advantage
of the bicycle is its flexibility and mobility because, in addition to its sporting and ecological, cycling in this  radiant island
is well suited and constitutes the best way to discover it by being close to its nature in its pure state.

The Pure And Clear Waters Of The Small Coves

The village of SAUZON what we  expected,  that  is  to  say  invigorating and typical and we must admit that its charm is great, immortalized in particular  in his  time  by  the  famous  Claude Monet.Discover  BELLE ILE, It is  also taste its local
gastronomy which can be found in pleasant restaurants located facing the ocean and after a good  seafood lunch on the
terrace on the  port,  Heading  for  Fort  Sarah  Bernard  located on  the  western tip  of the island at Pointe des Poulains before joining the Grotte De l'Apothicairerie renowned for its character and  configuration very  rugged facing the spray
of the Atlantic Ocean. " Who see Belle Ile  see  his island" say  the  sailors and we do not can only share this appreciation
especially when we take the time to stop in   all  these  beautiful  spaces  and  varied which are available to us and which
we  admire  without  moderation. Another  particularity  of  the  island  is  the  richness  of  its  fauna  and  flora  that  we
encounter through its heather between the moorland paths and  after  putting  down your  bikes, there is  nothing like a good swim in the pure and clear waters of the small coves of Port Donnant or the you can come across seagulls, gannets and also puffins which observe you with their shaped beaks.A good night in a  rural  cottage in  BANGOR and then head
towards the Grand Phare on the southern part   of the  island in  the  heart of the  wild  coast with its multiple colors and
harmoniously designed shapes which we will find up to the tip of Skeul  before  the  village of  LOCMARIA.  This island is
fascinating and surprising because it delights both nature enthusiasts and wide  open spaces, history enthusiasts with its
